Nemausos 54 a organisé les 25 et 26 novembre 2023 l’Open Stanislas 2023, un tournoi international de mahjong MCR en 7 manches de 110 minutes réparties sur 2 jours.
Le tournoi a été remporté par Luca GAVELLI (23 points ; + 807), suivi de Daniel AUBRUN (22 points ; + 683) et Vincent TAN (22 points ; + 733). La meilleure équipe a été l’équipe Soif de Mahjong (67 points ; + 925), constituée de Anna ZABOROWSKA, Gérald WLAMYNCK, Guillaume GUERIN et Olivier ROY.

The 25 and 26 November 2023, Nemausos 54 organised the Stanislas Open 2023, an international tournament of mahjong MCR with 7 rounds of 110 minutes, during 2 days.

Nemausos 54 organise les 25 et 26 novembre 2023 un tournoi international de mahjong MCR : l’Open Stanislas 2023
Lieu : le tournoi se déroule à l’Espace Prieuré, rue Jean Jaurès à Varangéville, à 10 km de Nancy.
Il est possible de se rendre au tournoi en voiture (un grand parking se situe devant l’Espace Prieuré, et il est également facile de se garer dans les rues avoisinantes).
Il est également possible de se rendre au tournoi en train depuis Nancy : un train part de Nancy le samedi et le dimanche vers 8h15/8h20 et arrive à la gare de Varangéville – Saint Nicolas vers 8h25/8h30 (horaires donnés à titre indicatif, à vérifier quelques semaines avant le tournoi sur le site des TER Grand-Est) ; il y a ensuite 6 minutes de marche à pied depuis la gare de Varangéville jusqu’à l’Espace Prieuré.
Règles et arbitrage : les règles seront celles du mahjong MCR (Mahjong Competition Rules), le tournoi sera arbitré par David Jourdain et Thomas Boutonnet (arbitres joueurs) et l’observateur EMA sera Loïc de Kergommeaux. La nouvelle règle EMA sera appliquée : toute partie déjà commencée lorsque retentit le gong doit être terminée ; une partie est considérée commencée lorsque les murs sont faits et les dés jetés.
Déroulement : le tournoi se déroulera en 7 manches de 110 minutes, réparties sur 2 jours et organisées par tirage au sort, donnant lieu à un classement individuel (les 10 meilleurs joueurs seront récompensés) et à un classement par équipe (les 4 joueurs de la meilleure équipe seront récompensés) ; par ailleurs, à l’occasion du 10ème anniversaire du club de mahjong Nemausos 54, créé en 2013, un lot spécial sera remis au dernier joueur à réaliser une Main sans valeur à 10 points lors ce ce tournoi. Les 7 manches s’organiseront de la manière suivante :

Restauration : le tournoi proposera sur place aux participants petit déjeuners et déjeuners le samedi et le dimanche, et fournira boissons et snacks durant les pauses café.
Pour des raisons autant éthiques, écologiques que pratiques, il est demandé à chacun des joueurs de venir muni de son propre gobelet personnel qui pourra servir de contenant pour les boissons chaudes (café, thé) comme pour les boissons froides (nous ne mettrons plus de bouteilles d’eau individuelles en plastique à la disposition des joueurs pendant le tournoi).
Les déjeuners nous seront préparés et servis sur le site du tournoi par le restaurant local Au bruit des bouchons (produits frais, circuit court, plats fait maison) de notre ancien président Sébastien Crocco. Les menus seront les suivants :

Si vous êtes végétarien, observez un régime alimentaire spécial ou si vous deviez être allergique à l’un des composants de ces menus, merci de le signaler dans le formulaire lors de votre inscription (voir ci-dessous)
Inscription (joueurs et équipes) : la capacité d’accueil du tournoi est de 80 participants maximum.
A partir de 60 participants inscrits, le tournoi n’ouvrira une table supplémentaire que lorsque quatre joueurs supplémentaires seront inscrits (tant qu’il y aura moins de quatre joueurs supplémentaires, ces joueurs seront considérés “en attente de table”).
A partir de 80 participants inscrits (capacité d’accueil maximale), les personnes inscrites au-delà de la 80ème place basculent dans la liste d’attente du tournoi ; en cas de désistement parmi les 80 premiers joueurs avant le mardi 31 octobre 2023, les joueurs en liste d’attente basculeront automatiquement dans la liste des joueurs formellement admis au tournoi.
Les participants sont également invités à déclarer leur équipe de quatre joueurs avant le mardi 31 octobre 2023, soit lors de l’inscription via le formulaire (voir ci-dessous), soit par un mail adressé à Thomas Boutonnet (thomasboutonnet@yahoo.com). Au-delà de cette date, les joueurs sans équipe seront affectés à une équipe incomplète.
Frais de participation : la contribution pour le tournoi est de 65 euros par personne, ou de 60 euros si le participant amène un dessert fait maison. Cette somme, qui couvre les boissons, les pauses café, les petits déjeuners, les déjeuners et la constitution des lots, sera à verser avant le mardi 31 octobre 2023 par virement sur le compte bancaire de Nemausos 54 (IBAN : XXXXX ; BIC : XXXXX ; précisez bien votre nom et prénom lors du virement). Attention : votre inscription ne sera validée qu’après paiement de ces frais de participation.

Organisation
On 25th and 26th November 2023, Nemausos 54 organises the 2023 Stanislas Open, an international tournament of MCR mahjong.
Location : the tournament will be held at Espace Prieuré, Jean Jaurès street, in Varangéville, 10 km away from Nancy.
It is possible to reach the tournament site by car (a large parking area is located in front of Espace Prieuré, and it is also very easy, and free of charge, to park on nearby streets).
It is also possible to reach the tournament site by train from Nancy: a train leaves Nancy at 8:15/8:20 AM on Saturdays and Sundays and reaches the train station of Varangéville – Saint Nicolas at 8:25/8:30 (please go to the TER Grand Est Website few weeks before the tournament for confirmation of the time schedule) ; you then need to walk 6 minutes from the train station of Varangéville – Saint Nicolas to reach Espace Prieuré.
Rules and referee : the rules applying to this tournament are the Mahjong Competition Rules (MCR) ; David Jourdain and Thomas Boutonnet will be referees of the tournament (referee-players) and Loïc de Kergommeaux will be the EMA observer. The new EMA rule will be applied : a game already started when the gong sounds continues after the gong ; a game is considered started when the walls are built and the dice thrown.
Organisation : the tournament will last 2 days and will consist of 7 rounds of 110 minutes each ; the tables will be randomly composed the first day before the first round. At the end of the tournament, individual ranking (the 10 best players will be rewarded) and team ranking (the 4 players of the best team will be rewarded) will be established ; furthermore, to celebrate the 10 year anniversary of Nemausos 54, founded in 2013, a special gift will be granted to the last player to score a Chicken hand with 10 points during this tournament. The 7 rounds will be scheduled as follows :

Catering : the tournament will offer breakfasts and lunch meals on site on Saturday and Sunday, as well as drinks and snacks during coffee breaks.
For ethical, ecological and practical reasons, players will be asked to bring their own personal drinking mug, and to use it for both hot drinks (coffee, tea) and cold drinks (small plastic water bottles will not be offer to the players during the tournament anymore).
Lunch meals will be prepared and served on site by local caterer Au bruit des bouchons (fresh and local products, home-made cooking) managed by our former president Sébastien Crocco. Please find the menus below :

If you are vegetarian or vegan, must follow a specific diet, or are allergic to any of the components listed above, please notify it in the registration form (see below).
Registration (players and teams) : the tournament will welcome a maximum of 80 players.
Once the tournament reaches 60 registered players, an additional table will be open only when 4 additional players are registered (if the additional players are less than four, they will be considered as “waiting for an additional table to be open”).
Once the maximum capacity of 80 players is reached, players beyond the 80th place will be on the tournament’s waiting list ; if one or some of the 80 first registered players has/have to cancel his/her participation before Tuesday 31 October 2023, players in the waiting list will automatically join the tournament as registered players.
Registered players are also invited to declare the name of their team of four players before Tuesday 31 October 2023, either through the registration form (see below) or by email to Thomas Boutonnet (thomasboutonnet@yahoo.com). Beyond this date, registered players without a team will be affected to an incomplete team.
Registration fee : the registration fee is 65 euros per player, or 60 euros if the player brings a homemade dessert or cake. This fee, which covers breakfasts, lunch meals, drinks, snacks and the awards) must be paid before Tuesday 31 October 2023 by bank transfer to Nemausos 54’s bank account (IBAN : XXXXX ; BIC : XXXXX ; please don’t forget to mention your name).
